The Xerox 8200 ink printer delivers a fast processor of 500 MHz and a maximum memory of 512 MB which is better than average; however, the base model does not come with networking capabilities and will need to be added or choose the 8200DN, 8200DP or 8200Dx models that have it standard. USB and parallel ports are standard, but no cables are included. A 20 GB hard drive accompanies the higher end models and is option with an upgrade package for the base model; duplexing is also standard on these models. In addition a usage analysis tool enables the printer to anticipate your usage and will adjust power save modes and times accordingly; automatic color calibration delivers the same color output on each and every print while an 85,000 page monthly duty cycle supports large printing demands.

The Xerox 8200 solid ink printer delivers more features than their competitors but falls short on the low resolution print quality; the use of better resolutions will help but will also slow down the print speed.
